Read our music file format tutorial or view our music formats data sheet to learn more about midi, karaoke, mp3, and audio (wav) files.
What is the sound quality for midi files?
The sound quality heard from Music Library midi and karaoke files depends on
- the quality of the sound card built into your computer
- the software that synthesizes the music (the midi player)
- the quality of your speakers
Usually, high quality speakers are the most critical component contributing to a full, pleasing sound. Advanced midi player software allows tweaking the playback quality, instrument sounds, tempo and other performance qualities.
